CRESTVIEW FLORIDA
Located in the northern section of Okaloosa County, Crestview is one of the fastest growing cities in the Panhandle, yet has managed to maintain its “small town charm and values”. Not only is Crestview conveniently located to Duke Field, The 7th Special Forces Compound, and Eglin AFB, but is also within 30 miles of some of the most beautiful sugar white beaches in the world. Near Choctawhatchee Bay, Crestview is home to the Shoal River and many other rivers and streams that feed the Bay. It also borders the Eglin AFB reservation, so the options for hunting and fishing are endless and beyond compare.
The downtown historical district is quaint and thriving and is also the newest home to Florida A & M University’s Pharmacy College. This Crestview campus will be FAMU Pharmacy’s first degree-granting satellite location and is scheduled to open its doors by Fall 2012. Okaloosa County is the top school district in the State of Florida and Crestview’s growth has been rewarded with two brand new state-of-the art schools, Riverside Elementary and Shoal River Middle School. Pinnacle Pointe is 1.5 miles from both of these great schools.
